Caretaking and maintenance of chalets in Megève

LA STELLA MEGÈVE offers most of the services required to manage and maintain your property and organise your stay. All these services are provided in your name and on your behalf.

An annual cleaning and maintenance contract allows the OWNER to keep their chalet or flat in good condition and available 7 days a week.

LA STELLA provides a comprehensive service tailored to the needs of each owner to ensure your property is looked after in collaboration with carefully selected local partners. The desired frequency and requirements will be defined in advance with you:

  • Regular inspection of the property (electricity, heating, water, appliances, etc.)
  • Follow-up on various mandatory maintenance tasks (chimney sweeping, fire extinguishers, jacuzzi, swimming pool, etc.)
  • Administrative procedures
  • Collecting, checking and paying invoices from service providers
  • Follow-up or implementation of regular maintenance (snow clearance, green spaces, etc.)
  • Small repairs or jobs
  • Check and prepare your chalet before you arrive.
  • Winterising or heating your chalet (heating regulation, etc.)
  • Estimates and advice for the specific maintenance of your chalet
  • Monitoring of various works and suppliers
  • safekeeping of your keys for the various parties involved, available 7 days a week ...

Annual maintenance

To keep your property safe and in good health, LA STELLA offers you a flat-rate service for the safekeeping of your keys, with one visit to your property per month (a brief visit to check that there are no problems inside or outside your property, and to collect and forward your mail). This package gives you 7/7 availability to deal with any situation, as well as preferential hourly rates for all maintenance work.

Additional services

In order to provide you with a quality service that meets your needs and expectations, LA STELLA offers a number of additional services:

Administrative management

We will organise all the compulsory or necessary checks for you (chimney sweeping, fire extinguisher checks, etc.), set up or monitor maintenance contracts (swimming pool contract, jacuzzi, lift, alarm, snow clearance, etc.), organise maintenance work or any other service linked to property management (ordering fuel, wood, etc.), collect, check and pay the majority of invoices for services that we've validated with your agreement. Once a month we send you a summary of the invoices to be paid to us, together with a monthly status report.

A member of our company can be present during these opening times for the various external service providers on request..

Regular visits

Regular visits are proposed to check the property: lights, sanitary and electrical installations, heating, openings, water, and the general good condition of the chalet and its exterior (Wherever possible, we try to carry out this check during a scheduled appointment with an external service provider), meter readings
(This remuneration is due even if the owner wishes to exempt the SERVICE SUPPLIER from his obligations when he is present in his property)

If we have an improvement to suggest to you, we can call in various professionals to get you quotes.

  • Before your arrival for final checks
  • After the bad weather
  • Small jobs
  • For the opening of the chalet for external service providers where you do not wish us to leave the keys and alarm with them (you'll just have to specify it)
